As a follow-up to their branching and tag name changes announcement, they have now established the formal structure for Drupal.org's Git repositories! Instead of having projects sub-divided as /drupal, /contributions/modules, /contributions/themes, and so on as they currently do at http://cvs.drupal.org/, projects are now located in the "root" namespace (all in the same top-level directory). Groups.drupal.org is a marvellous place to find information on Git repositories. We hear about these guys a great deal and they are a place to check out when you have some surplus time!
